Star Grip Wheels

Star grip wheels are finally here. Star grip have been a favorite among top pros and now they are avaliable in the U.S. Most Athens to Atlanta 86 mile race winner Eddy Matzger has used these wheels. Minimum weight and rebound makes this the top race wheel for years to come. Korean company Star Grip has put a great deal of technology into the rebound aspect of this wheel. The thin profile and width still offers a great rebound. Hyper gives the best rebound, but the Hyper wheels are very heavy. skater over 200 lbs and on 4 wheels should be a hyper mach-2 , not Star-grip. Star-grip is the best wheel out there, but not for heavier skaters.

Race Tip: Star grip has been the most talked about wheel in years. Best for use with lighter skaters under 170 lb.  I see them being on top for years to come. Stargrip are very light weight thin profile race wheels. They have good rebound for the thin profile and weight. Great for race day. I would train on other wheels. The white compound last longer, but the translucent provides better rebound. Use other wheels on rough roads, these like smooth roads.
